Description
The Shikakai Powder ensures hair manageability while cleansing very sensitive scalp in a gentle manner. The powder is suitable for all hair types, in particular very fine hair, and serves to provide increased shine and fullness. It also has a strengthening effect, reduces excess dandruff and stimulates hair growth.
Application:
- Form a paste by combining the powder with hot water. Apply to wet hair.
- Leave on for 10 - 20 minutes and rinse with warm water thereafter.
- Cleansing with a shampoo is not necessary.
Tip:
- When used to prolong your hair colour treatment increase the application time to 60 minutes - depending on the structure of your hair.
- If treating the hair with a herbal dye, cleanse with a shampoo first.
- A blend of amla and shikakai powder is the best form of treatment when it comes to fine hair.
Note:
- For light or bleached hair, first perform a strand test. It is recommended to leave on the paste for 10 minutes, as it may possibly lead to an unwanted colour outcome!

I absolutely love this product! So much better than shampoo. I only ever use shampoo and conditioner if I'm away from home now, or if I happen to have run out of this stuff. I would highly recommend giving it a go. I mix it with a little tea tree oil to help prevent an itchy scalp in winter too.
